Keyboard and Typing Tutors
Keytutor is a clever online keyboard game and typing tutor.
It works at the level of letters, words and sentences.
Users at various skill levels can choose from graded lists of words
and sentences to practice their skills.
For letters there is a 'Key Hunt' game where the keys are highlighted
randomly and users have to hunt for them and press the key on the keyboard.
For words there are three sets of graded words that are displayed
randomly and users have to complete typing the word before getting another.
For sentences there are fours sets of graded words that are displayed
randomly and users have to complete typing the sentences before getting another.
Punctuation, apart from 'spaces' is only required for the top two levels.
A continuous level display keeps students working to improve their rates.
Scores are presented as 'Letters per minute' and 'Words per minute'.
An appealing 'Wizards' Grading system will excite the students and encourage them.
